I started working at the Singh Imagineering Lab, known on campus as “Tinker,” during my first month at BU. As a Lab Advisor, my main role was to assist creative engineering students to make their novel ideas a reality. This lab was established purely for extracurricular projects. One of the perks of working at Tinker was the freedom to explore my own creativity and out of that freedom came the Tinkerbot.

The inspiration for this printer came from learning about the RepRap community and open-source hardware several years ago. Over the summer of 2016, I finally got around to building a RepRap Prusa i3 variant  I found here.
